It can be very frustrating when you import an image into Scratch - either for use as a sprite or a background - that you need to rub out the existing background which is frequently just white space. Scratch have added a 'magic wand' that enables you to roughly draw around the object you want and it will then 'intelligently' remove the background.
This banana originally had a white rectangle frame but even drawing round it roughly it worked out what was background and what was the object to cut out. It wasn't perfect but pretty impressive nonetheless.
