There is a widely held misapprehension that the Computing National Curriculum is all about coding/programming. 'Let the children use BeeBots at KS1 and Scratch at KS2 - sorted!'
It is far more complicated than that - and much more fun.
There are 3 sections, IT, Digital Literacy and Computer Science. Or using, understanding how to use safely and effectively, and understanding the principles that make it work.

Some schools have already adopted the ideas behind the Computing Curriculum and are using aspects of computer science across the curriculum.
